We’ve often times found ourselves fighting back tears while we’re shooting our couple’s weddings. Before you roll your eyes at what I just said, give me a chance to explain…
You’re sharing with us one of the most precious moment of your lives. We’re there for the laughs, the tears, the hugs with friends and family you don’t see often enough. We see the nerves in the morning. The deep breaths before walking down the aisle. The vows that start steady and end a little shaky. You share your speeches…your thanks to your parents, the ones who sacrificed everything for you. You’re fighting back tears as you tell them over your speeches how grateful you are for everything they’ve done for you. And as you dance with Dad for your father daughter dance, you both can’t help but cry uncontrollably.
And we’re there for all of it.
In you sharing all of that with us, all that vulnerability, your story, your raw candid love…we genuinely end up caring so damn much for you. We’ll try not to scare you off just yet but saying we’ll “fall in love” with you :D
And that care is something we have for all our couples, no matter how big or small the wedding is. In that care, you’ll find that we pour our everything into you, and your film. We genuinely want to capture all those precious moments so you can hold onto them forever. We want to create something amazing for you.

FAQs
Other companies offer two videographers/photographers - why do you start with just one?
For the majority of weddings, one photographer or filmmaker is not only enough, it’s often the best approach.
We intentionally start with one creative across our packages because we believe the best moments happen when your day feels natural, relaxed, and uninterrupted. Our Fusion packages are the exception, pairing one photographer and one filmmaker to capture your day together from both perspectives.
While there may only be one photographer or filmmaker physically capturing your day, we're rarely relying on just one piece of equipment. Throughout the wedding, we strategically use multiple cameras, professional audio equipment for film, lighting where needed, and carefully planned setups to ensure the important moments are captured beautifully and from the right perspectives.
Having one experienced creative also allows us to move discreetly throughout the day, anticipate moments as they unfold, and capture your wedding without making it feel like a large production. With fewer people around you, your interactions tend to feel more genuine, which is exactly what we're trying to preserve.
Having two shooters doesn't automatically mean better photos or films, or twice as much meaningful coverage. For many weddings, a second photographer or filmmaker can result in duplicate coverage and another person in spaces that are already busy with photographers, family, makeup artists, and guests.
That said, there are definitely times when a second shooter makes sense. If you're getting ready in separate locations at the same time, have a particularly large wedding, or simply want more comprehensive simultaneous coverage, you're more than welcome to add an additional photographer or filmmaker.
$250/hour (minimum 4 hours)
Can we get all the RAW footage? We don't want to miss anything!
Absolutely! While we can certainly provide your RAW footage on a hard drive, it’s worth knowing that RAW footage isn't quite as simple as receiving hours of ready-to-watch clips.
These files are unedited, unprocessed, and uncolour-graded, often spread across multiple cameras and containing a huge amount of footage—including duplicate takes, camera adjustments, and moments that simply aren't usable. They're the building blocks of your final film, but can be difficult to watch and navigate without being properly processed.
That’s where our FOMO Edit comes in!
The ‘Fear Of Missing Out’ Edit is designed for couples who want to experience even more of their day. We carefully process and organise your footage, removing unnecessary clips and preserving the meaningful, candid, and memorable moments that didn't make it into your main Fable Film.
It’s the closest thing to experiencing your wedding day all over again—without having to dig through hours of RAW files.

How long until we get our film and photos?
We know the wait can be tough when you're itching to relive the day!
We take our time with the editing because we don't want to rush something that you'll keep for the rest of your lives. Every film and gallery goes through a careful process of selecting, editing, colour grading and crafting your story.
Photos: Your full gallery is generally delivered within 8–12 weeks.
Films: Your highlight film is generally delivered within 12–16 weeks.
These are our typical turnaround times, although occasionally things can take a little longer during our busiest seasons. We'll always keep you updated along the way, and we'll never disappear into the editing cave without letting you know what's happening!
Can we pay cash?
As cool as it is to have physical dollar dollar bills, we only accept online payment via Bank Transfer or PayPal (additional fee).
So, who will actually be there shooting our wedding?
At Fable, Jonty and Sherman remain closely involved in every wedding we take on. Depending on your package, availability, and the needs of your wedding day, your celebration may be captured by Jonty, Sherman, or one of our carefully selected Fable team members.
We’ve built a trusted team of talented photographers and filmmakers who understand and share the Fable approach to storytelling, ensuring every wedding is captured with the same care, creativity, and attention to detail that we're known for.
Regardless of who is behind the camera on the day, the final creative direction and storytelling remain closely overseen by Jonty and Sherman. Your film is crafted with the same heart, intention, and Fable touch from beginning to end.
Next Steps…
Locking us In
When you’d like to work with us (we hope you do!), then all you have to do is process a $1000 retainer fee, which will officially lock you in with us! Just let us know if you would like to proceed, and we’ll shoot across the official invoice to you :)

We’ll then schedule in a initial video call where we can e-meet one another! It’s great to be able to put a face to the names, and to really get to know one another. Here, we’ll be able to answer any questions you might have and provide any guidance if needed!
3. Wedding Day Info Form
Another vendor form to fill out?! We know you’ve got a million things on your plate, but this Google Docs form is essential at providing us the key information we need! This includes addresses, best point of contacts, etc.
We’ll provide this a month out from your wedding date.
4. Pre-Wedding Video Call
We’ll arrange another video call with you for 2 weeks to one month out from your wedding At this point in time, your runsheet should be finalized (or close to it), and we’ll be able to go over it together; we’ll make sure everyone’s on the same page logistically.
5. The Wedding
It’s here! The big day! All the hard work is done, all you have to do is to show up and enjoy. Don’t ever feel pressure to “put on a show” for the cameras. We want you to be yourself!
6. Post-Wedding
Wohoo you did it! You’re married! Go enjoy your honeymoon and have a blast with married life <3. We’ll begin cracking away with your film/photos.
You can expect to get your film around 4 months after your wedding, and with photos it’ll be around 1 month.

We pride ourselves on running a small, but strong ship. This has allowed us (Jonty and Sherman) to still be the ones who chat to you, shoot your wedding, and ultimately edit your film. In turn, this has allowed us to create films we are immensely proud of, both creatively and technically.
We pride ourselves on our personable approach, and how we champion you being yourself. We love that in doing so, and in not trying to emulate the latest “Vogue” trend, we’ve been able to get some of the most amazing stories and raw candid emotions out from our couples. This has led to many amazing films, with such amazing stories that you tell, and that we craft.
We love doing this so much, and we can’t really see ourselves doing anything else. We feel so blessed to have been able to work with the couples that we have, and we hope you’ll entrust us to do the same :)
